Locally owned, family run
A store, not a chain
The Albion Store is two things at once: a proper corner store and a takeaway. On one side, the fridges, the papers and the milk. On the other, a kitchen turning out burgers, fish and chips, gravy rolls and coffee, made to order and quick enough that you are back in the ute before the engine cools.
Doors open at six on weekdays, so the early shift and the school run both get looked after. It is counter service: park out the front, order, and go. There is only a little room to sit, and that is the point — the queue keeps moving.
The owners are behind the counter alongside the staff, which is the thing customers keep writing about.
